i would just like to look back and think about how lucky and fortunate i have been thus far. senior year by far has been my favorite year because it taught me that hard work really does pay off.
i applied to 6 different schools and was was not really expecting much, just praying that i got in somewhere, yet i received so much!
however, i must reject the other schools in favor of my top choice- University of Richmond.
so ready to become a spider of the class of 2017!
If I have to go to VCU over UofR, I may just end up crying…everything sounds so lovely. College waiting and decisions hurt…
the question for me as for many people is whether i should choose graduating debt free or my own personal happiness. there are so many pros and cons to each school.
VCU
Pros:
- tuition all paid for, aka graduating debt free
-right smack dab in Richmond
-lively and always moving
- could switch over to BME, easy peasy
-potentially, its an easier school in general
Cons
-large institution
-grungy and scary (never know what sort of people you encounter)
-not the best rep out there, will i even get into medical school?
-large classes/not all classes are taught by professors
UofR
Pros
-so freaking pretty, i feel right at home and happy
-pretty prestigious school
-friendly people, at least thats the vibe im getting
-goood opportunities for science
-good business school, since i may double-major in bio and business
Cons
-financially, PLEASE LET ME DO WELL ON THAT INTERVIEW. undergrad paid for would be so nice..
-uh…………
-UHHHH……………….
-………………………………..there are no other cons.
Richmond, I am so in love with you, just let me become a spider already.
Ready for battle against #calculus #statistics and #government…I woll come out #victorious
Hello beloved tumblr,
i have been so busy lately that i havent updated. needless to say..
the workload is never ending. each week, i tell myself that next week will be better. but week after week, its just hell week all over again. why was i so stupid and thought i could manage so many classes…the homework in each individual class doesnt amount to anything, yet it all adds up. anyhows, have to go study my ass off for a class that doesnt really matter in college. ap enviro, thou 100 pages await.
SCHOOL WORK. ACTION.

Pros
- getting my braces off soon
- being a semifinalist for Richmond Scholars, but again, thats probably as far as i’ll make it
- becoming a bit more sociable
Cons
- straight out rejection from UVA, am i not good enough for a deferral?
- rejection from the Guaranteed Medical Program at VCU, eh understandable
- the semester is ending aka so much more stress
WHY MUST JANUARY SUCK SO MUCH. WHY WHY WHY WHY.
